Hey, Ed! I've gotta say I'm really digging your take on the Batman, and I'm looking forward to Turning Points. What was it like working with Joe Giella and Dick Giordano? Did you or do you have any input with respect to the cover art? Did you communicate with Joe Kubert? I enjoyed Darwyn Cooke's Batman:Ego. Last Bat-Chat you mentioned you
might have something in the works with Darwyn. Would you tell us a little
more about that project? |

Conference calls sound cool. Any chance of Greg coming to these boards? |

Okay, checking back in one more time before I go off-line entirely... I said they would make an announcement. They may have made a decision already, but nothing publicly. I didn't have any contact with either Giella or Giordano, but they both apparently liked the scripts a lot, and did amazing work. When I wrote the scripts I had no idea who would draw them. I do indeed have a really big deal project in the works, in the actual pipeline, with Darwyn Cooke, and it's going to be huge. But I can't say more than that. |

This chat was not the greatest, but hopefully, we will be able to do more chat with Ed. If we're good, he'll bring along Scott McDaniel, and possibly some other of his Batman buddies! In the meantime, check out all of the new reviews coming soon. See you in a month! P.S. - It has been announced that Ed Brubaker will be the regular writer on Batman after Brian Vaughan's run! |
